The raw material used is Quebracho Blanco, a characteristic tree from the Chaco region of Paraguay.
All coals are custom made to fit the customer’s request. This way the dimensions of the product vary between 2 to 30 cm and presented from 25 to 40 mm.
The products can be found in Polypropylene Laminated bags, coming in two different presentations of 10 or 20 kg; or in Paper Bags, these packages already come in four different formats – 3, 5, 10 or 12 kg.
Manufacturing process
The manufacturing process requires special care, from the growth of the material to the construction of the projects, the whole process is monitored by the operators to guarantee the quality of the product.
The wood is transported to the combustion oven. Once this process is completed, the coals are routed to humidity control and on this stage any trace of humidity is removed from the product as soon as it comes out of the oven.
Coals are inspected for ashes during packaging. Two employees inspect that the selected pieces are in perfect condition, so they are packed and sent to distribution.
